Terms of use

Updated October 25, 2026

These terms apply to using Powroli (powroli.eu): client galleries, photographer sites and the shop. Using Powroli means accepting them.

1. The service

Powroli is run by Polina Basova (Poland); contact: hello@powroli.eu. It lets photographers deliver photos to clients in online galleries, run portfolio sites, take booking requests and sell digital photos and prints.

Powroli is in closed beta: accounts are opened by invitation, the service is free and features may change. Any paid plans will be announced in advance and will not apply without the photographer’s agreement.

2. Accounts

A photographer must be at least 18 and give true details. The account is personal; the photographer is responsible for what happens in it and for keeping access to the sign-in email or provider safe.

The account can be deleted at any time in Account → Delete account.

3. Content and rights

Photographers keep all rights to their photos and texts. They give Powroli only the permission needed to store and process the content (for example to make web versions and watermarks) and to show it to the people they share it with.

Photographers are responsible for having the rights to what they upload and the consent of the people in the photos where the law requires it — in particular explicit consent before turning on face recognition.

Not allowed: illegal content, content that violates the rights of others, any sexual content involving minors, malware, spam, and attempts to break or overload the service. Powroli may remove such content and suspend the account.

4. Clients’ data, processed for the photographer

When a photographer’s clients use galleries, sites, the booking form or the shop, the photographer is the controller of their data and Powroli processes it on the photographer’s behalf (art. 28 GDPR). Powroli processes the data only to provide the service and as set by the photographer in the settings; keeps it confidential and protected; uses the sub-processors listed in the Privacy policy and tells about changes; helps the photographer answer requests of the people concerned and report breaches; and deletes the data when the photographer deletes it or the account.

The photographer informs their clients about the processing and may refer them to the Privacy policy.

5. Selling photos and prints

The seller in every purchase in a gallery is the photographer, not Powroli. Payments go straight to the photographer’s own Stripe account, under Stripe’s terms for connected accounts. During the beta Powroli takes no commission on sales.

Prints by the lab are made and delivered by Prodigi and ordered by Powroli on the photographer’s behalf. Their cost — print, delivery and tax, shown in the price list and converted from US dollars at the day’s rate plus 5% for currency exchange — is kept by Powroli from each payment; the rest goes to the photographer. A lab order goes to print only when the photographer sends it.

The photographer sets the prices and is responsible for taxes, invoices and the duties of a seller towards consumers, including complaints. Prints the photographer makes themselves are fully their responsibility.

Refunds are made by the photographer from the order. If the lab has already started printing, its cost is not returned; the client still gets the full amount back, from the photographer’s Stripe balance.

6. For clients buying in a gallery

Digital photos are available right after payment. By paying, the buyer asks for immediate access and, once a download has started, loses the right to withdraw from the purchase of this digital content (art. 38(1)(13) of the Polish Consumer Rights Act).

Prints are made from photos the buyer has chosen, so they are made to order and cannot be returned under the right of withdrawal (art. 38(1)(3) of that act). This does not affect the right to complain about a defect: damaged or faulty prints are reprinted or refunded.

Questions and complaints about an order go to the photographer — a reply to the order email reaches them. Powroli helps where it can at hello@powroli.eu.

7. Availability and liability

During the beta Powroli is provided as it is. Care is taken to keep it running and the data safe, but interruptions are possible; photographers should keep their own copies of originals.

Powroli is not liable for indirect damage or lost profit, and its liability is limited as far as the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits the rights of consumers or any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

8. Changes and ending

These terms may change; photographers are told about important changes by email at least 14 days in advance and may delete their account if they disagree.

Powroli may close an account at once for a serious breach of these terms; otherwise the service or an account ends with at least 30 days’ notice and a chance to export the data.

9. Law and disputes

Polish law applies, without depriving consumers of the protection of the law of the country where they live. Disputes are settled by the competent common courts; consumers may also use out-of-court dispute resolution.
